David Taylor

David Taylor is an experienced professional in law enforcement and corrections, currently serving as the Lead Consultant at The Pursuit of Excellence Training and Consulting since January 2021, specializing in policy management, accreditation, and training design. Taylor has a long-standing association with the American Correctional Association as a Certified Auditor and has provided extensive consulting services to various agencies, including a tenure at PowerDMS and Riggs and Maund, Inc. as a Lead Consultant focused on policy and training development. Additionally, Taylor held the position of Interim Director and Chief Probation Officer for the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court and worked as a Supervisor for over three decades until retirement in January 2014. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Dayton and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Miami University.
