Steve Hall serves as the Executive Vice President of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC), a position held since August 2001. Throughout their tenure, Steve has managed a government affairs department that achieved significant milestones, including securing a 20% tax deduction for the engineering industry in the 2017 tax reform law. Steve has developed and executed legislative and regulatory efforts across various domains, expanded ACEC/PAC funding, and enhanced association messaging and non-dues revenue. Prior to ACEC, Steve worked for fourteen years in the US House of Representatives, advancing from Legislative Assistant to Chief of Staff. Steve holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from George Mason University.
