Paul Kangas

Paul Kangas has extensive experience in the insurance industry and government relations. Starting in 1998, they served as the U.S. Director for the Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN) until 2001. Paul then worked as a Senior Professional Staff Member for the US House of Representatives Financial Services Committee from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they worked at the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America as an Assistant Vice President from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2019, Kangas held the role of Vice President at Assurant, where they were responsible for federal policy and government relations. Currently, they are the Vice President of Financial Services at the American Council of Life Insurers (ACLI). Kangas also served as the Treasurer and Executive Committee Member for the Association of Government Relations Professionals from 2010 to 2014.

Paul Kangas attended Cornell University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government.
