Scott Dixon

Scott Dixon has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Scott worked as the VP of Finance at the American Council of Life Insurers, where they managed a team and was responsible for accounts payable, payroll, financial accounting, budgeting, and IT infrastructure improvement. Prior to that, they worked at CBIZ MHM, LLC, where they held various roles including Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant. In these roles, they oversaw financial management outsourcing, developed internal controls, supervised accounting teams, and conducted client audit engagements. Scott also aided startups in developing internal control and financial processes.

Scott Dixon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland in 1994. In May 1995, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Maryland. Additionally, in the same year, Scott obtained certifications as a CPA from the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
