Carissa Gaine

Carissa Gaine currently serves as the Associate Director of Community Engagement at the American Council on Education, a role commenced in November 2023. Previously, Carissa spent over thirteen years at the American College of Cardiology in various positions including Associate for Member Leadership Development and Associate for Governance and Member Leadership, where responsibilities included governance collaboration, leadership development, and managing the Nominating Committee. Carissa also held the position of Senior Specialist for Member Leadership, focusing on enhancing leadership skills and coordinating the Annual Leadership Forum. Earlier career experience includes working as a Sales Consultant and Project Manager at Clarke Consulting. Carissa holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Rollins College.
