Jose Romero

Jose Romero currently serves as an Advancement Specialist at the American Council on Education since December 2024. Previously, Jose worked at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities as a Development Associate and Development Assistant from January 2023 to December 2024. Jose's experience includes an internship in Major Gifts and Prospect Development at Global Refuge, where skills were developed in prospect profiling, donor data reporting, and pipeline management for increased giving. Additionally, Jose has interned in The George Washington University's President's Office and has worked in various roles, including as a Writing Consultant and Front Office Assistant. Earlier experience also includes a managerial operations internship and contributions as a marketing specialist at Sanabria & Associates, PLLC. Jose holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from The George Washington University.
