Phil Muehlenbeck

Phil Muehlenbeck is a seasoned academic with extensive experience in the field of history. Currently serving as a Professorial Lecturer at George Washington University since 2006, Phil teaches courses such as US Diplomatic History and focuses on subjects including West Africa, decolonization, and the Cold War. Additionally, Phil holds a position as a Legal Services Associate at the American Council on Education since 2002 and previously lectured at the University of Maryland from 2007 to 2012 on topics such as Sub-Saharan Africa and U.S. foreign relations. Phil earned a Ph.D. in History from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's Degree in History from Michigan State University.
