Carolyn Lane

Executive Administrator at American Council on Renewable Energy

Carolyn Lane is responsible for supporting President and Chief Executive Officer Greg Wetstone and the senior management team. She closely aligns with the mission of ACORE and it’s imperative to accelerate the transition to a renewable energy economy.

Prior to joining ACORE in 2016, Carolyn worked at the American Red Cross supporting the Tiffany Circle program, a women’s leadership philanthropic group consisting of about 800 high net worth members across their chapter network. She has an extensive background in the nonprofit sector, filling roles in management, fundraising, communications and event planning. She founded two nonprofits, a fully accredited Montessori School and a small global photo diplomacy project. She also previously taught as an adjunct professor at the University of North Florida. She has served on a number of nonprofit boards.

Carolyn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Pharmacology from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
