Susan Kimner

Susan Kimner has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Susan began their career as a Copyeditor at University Publications of America in 1990 and then moved on to become an Assistant Director of Publications at the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine in 1991. At the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, they oversaw the production of the society's monthly journal and managed the printing and order fulfillment of publications. In 1995, Susan became the Managing Editor at Williams & Wilkins, where they supported acquisitions editors and managed the editorial production of textbooks. Susan then joined The CDM Group, Inc. in 1998 as a Managing Project Co-Director, where they specialized in health, education, and program development. Susan later worked as a Task Leader at Northrop Grumman Information Systems before their most recent role as the Director of Publishing at the American Dental Education Association, where they provided leadership for the production of scholarly publications.

Susan Kimner attended Michigan State University from 1985 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
