Amanda Bernheim

Amanda Bernheim currently serves as National Director of Development Operations at the American Diabetes Association since March 2024. Previously, Amanda held various roles at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association from July 2007 to March 2024, including National Account Director for Corporate Relations, where responsibilities included managing a portfolio of national sponsors and running fundraising campaigns. Other roles included Development Specialist overseeing logistics for signature fundraising events, Regional Office Manager coordinating key luncheons and advising young professionals, and Special Events Administrator managing multiple fundraising events. Amanda began their career with a Special Events Internship at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in 2006. Amanda earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Maryland.
