Charlene Wallace

Charlene Wallace, MBA, serves as the Vice President of Diabetes Prevention at the American Diabetes Association, leading a transformative CDC cooperative agreement aimed at expanding the National Diabetes Prevention Program. With an extensive background in community health and program management, Charlene has previously held roles such as National Director for the Diabetes Prevention Program and Director of Community Health Strategies, focusing on initiatives in underserved areas. Prior experience includes managing the Community Clinical Linkages Program at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and leading the Attendant/Respite Care Program at the Family Service and Guidance Center, where significant achievements included increasing productivity by 63% and securing a foundation grant. Charlene holds an MBA in Business Leadership and two other advanced degrees in Clinical Psychology and Psychology.
