Christian Kohler has extensive work experience in the publishing industry, particularly in scholarly and professional publications related to diabetes research and healthcare. Christian started their career at the American Diabetes Association in 1999 as a Technical Editor, and later served as an Associate Managing Editor. In 2004, they joined ICMA as an Editor before returning to the American Diabetes Association in 2004 as a Managing Editor for Scholarly Journal Publishing. Throughout their tenure at the American Diabetes Association, they held various roles, including Director of Scholarly Journal Publishing and Associate Publisher (Managing Director) of Scholarly Journal Publishing. In their current role as Vice President & Publisher of Professional Publications, they are responsible for overseeing the editorial development and production of a wide range of resources for diabetes researchers and healthcare professionals.
Christian Kohler attended Queens University of Charlotte from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language & Literature and History of Philosophy. Christian then pursued further education at Ohio University from 1997 to 1999, earning a Master's degree in English Literature.
