Mariana Souto-Manning is an accomplished educator and researcher with extensive experience in leadership roles across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as a member of the International Women's Forum and The Chicago Network, as well as a Daniel Burnham Fellow at Leadership Greater Chicago, Mariana also holds the position of President at the Erikson Institute. At Teachers College, Columbia University, Mariana serves as an Honorary Research Professor and Professor, contributing to the academic community since June 2008. Mariana is actively involved in professional organizations, including the American Educational Research Association as Vice President for Teaching and Teacher Education (Division K) and as an Executive Council Member. Additionally, Mariana is a board member at the Global Childhoods Research Centre at The University of Auckland and the Early Childhood Research Centre at Dublin City University. Mariana is recognized for contributions in academia as a Visiting Professor and Fulbright Professor at the University of Iceland. Mariana earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from The University of Georgia.
