Christopher O'Hara

Christopher O'Hara, PE, is a Senior Engineer in Transmission Line Standards at American Electric Power, focusing on the development and maintenance of engineering standards related to geotechnical subsurface exploration, transmission line foundation design, and structural concrete, among other areas. Prior to this role, Christopher served as a Geotechnical Staff Project Manager at ECS Limited, managing geotechnical explorations for various organizations, including the Virginia Department of Transportation, and supervising field operations. Christopher's experience also includes an internship as Engineering Tech II at the Virginia Department of Transportation, and earlier roles such as Customer Satisfaction at AutoZone and Academic Tutor at Germanna Community College.
