Mercedes Wells

Mercedes Wells is a dedicated professional with experience in the chemical and microbiological fields, currently serving as a Chemical Lab Tech at American Electric Power since October 2024. Previously, Mercedes worked at Betco Corporation as a Microbiology Specialist and Lab Specialist from June 2022 to September 2024. Additional work experience includes a role as a Server at Cedar Valley Café from February 2016 to February 2022, a Program Intern at Hancock Park District during the summer of 2021, and as a Hostess at Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse from February 2014 to February 2016. Mercedes holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Heidelberg University (August 2017 - December 2021) and is currently pursuing a Professional Science Master’s degree in Green Chemistry & Engineering at The University of Toledo, expected to be completed in May 2025.
