Sandra Beach Lin

Sandra Beach Lin is the Director at American Electric Power. Sandra has also formerly served as the Executive Vice President at Celanese, the Group Vice President at Avery Dennison, and the President & Chief Executive Officer at Calisolar Inc.

Sandra started their career at Alcoa, Inc. in January 2002 and served as the President of Alcoa Closure Systems International until December 2005 when they joined WESCO Distribution. At WESCO, Sandra was a Member of the Board of Directors and former Chair of the Nominating & Governance Committee. Sandra was also a former Member of the Compensation Committee.

In January 2005, Sandra joined Avery Dennison as Group Vice President and held that position until December 2007 when they became the Executive Vice President at Celanese. Sandra served in that role from July 2007 until August 2010 when they were promoted to Corporate Executive Vice President. Sandra held that role until July 2010 when they left to join American Electric Power.

Sandra Beach Lin has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in General Management from The University of Toledo.
