Travis Windle

Travis Windle is a Principal Designer at American Electric Power since April 2019, specializing in physical substation design with over four years of substation experience and more than twenty-three years in design overall, focusing on brownfield and greenfield low and high voltage substations. Prior experience includes serving as a Mechanical Designer at PHPK Technologies from January 2000 to July 2019, where Travis oversaw a design group and contributed to various piping systems and components for cryogenic and high vacuum systems. Travis's career began as a Drafting/CAD Technician at Lubrimation in 1999, where skills in mechanical layout and design were developed. Travis holds an Associate Degree in Engineering Drafting/CAD from Technology Education College, obtained between 1998 and 1999.
