Venkat Miriyala

Venkat (Ven) Miriyala is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in technology and risk management. Currently serving as Managing Director of Technology at American Electric Power since March 1999, Ven leads technology, cybersecurity compliance, and risk management strategies. Previous roles at AEP include Managing Director of Technology Business Solutions and Managing Director of Enterprise Operational Risk & Business Continuity Management, where Ven oversaw the development of operational risk and crisis management frameworks. Prior experience includes positions at Nationwide Financial Services, New Boston Systems, and Silverline Industries. Ven holds a Master's degree in Computer Sciences from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an Engineering degree in Computer Sciences from Malnad College of Engineering, University of Mysore.
