Mouzhi Dong

Mouzhi Dong has over 25 years of work experience in the engineering field. Mouzhi began their career in 1994 as an Electrical Engineer at ABB. In 2008, they joined Eaton as a Lead Design Engineer. In 2010, they moved to Satcon Technology Corporation as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer and Power Upgrade Team Leader. In 2012, they joined FMC Technologies as a Systems and Controls Engineer. Finally, in 2013, they joined American Electric Technologies, Inc. as a Lead Product Engineer. In this role, they designed series motor algorithms embedded into Siemens 6RA80 DC drive systems and finished 3 drives with back-to-back topology, power rating up to 875kW, and using Profinet communicating with Siemens PLC in the marine project. These drives passed the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) certification.

Mouzhi Dong obtained a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician from Beijing Union University between 1989 and 1993. Mouzhi then earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computer Engineering from Hong Kong Baptist University between 1998 and 2000. Finally, they obtained a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University between 2004 and 2007.
