Cameron Sonefeld is a professional with diverse experience in leadership and community engagement, currently serving as the Conference Speaker Director at the Association of Energy Engineers since August 2022. Previously, Cameron worked as a Student Farm Assistant at Hub City Farmers Market, as well as a Server at Il Giorgione. Involvement with Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity included roles as Judicial Committee Member and Academic Achievement Chair. As a No Kid Hungry Youth Ambassador, Cameron collaborated with Hub City Farmers Market to promote access to healthy food through education and outreach efforts. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Wofford College, obtained in May 2022.

The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a nonprofit professional society of over 17,000 members in 100 countries. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development.” AEE offers a full array of informational outreach programs including certification programs, conferences, journals, books, and training programs. AEE's network of 100 local chapters meets regularly to discuss regional issues. AEE's roster of corporate members is a veritable “who's who” from the commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental, energy services, and utility sectors.
