Maria Alharases is a Technical Expert at the Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF) since November 2023, following a previous internship at the same organization where tasks included supervising energy audits and evaluating proposals for energy audit implementations. Maria also interned with JREEEF in July to September 2022, performing similar roles. Prior experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant at the AEE Chapter in Al al-Bayt University, where Maria managed a team focused on workshops and training in sustainable and renewable energy. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering from Al al-Bayt University, earned in January 2023.

Association of Energy Engineers
The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a nonprofit professional society of over 17,000 members in 100 countries. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development.” AEE offers a full array of informational outreach programs including certification programs, conferences, journals, books, and training programs. AEE's network of 100 local chapters meets regularly to discuss regional issues. AEE's roster of corporate members is a veritable “who's who” from the commercial, industrial, institutional, governmental, energy services, and utility sectors.
