Mohammed Muaafa is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Technical Services Director at the National Energy Services Company (Tarshid) since July 2017, after holding the position of Technical Services Manager. Muaafa also contributes as an instructor for the Association of Energy Engineers, teaching courses on Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP). As an adjunct professor at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Muaafa taught energy efficiency and management courses from February 2018 to February 2019. The Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) is a nonprofit professional society of over 17,000 members in 100 countries. The mission of AEE is “to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for sustainable development.” AEE offers a full array of informational outreach programs including certification programs, conferences, journals, books, and training programs. AEE's network of 100 local chapters meets regularly to discuss regional issues.
