Glynne Townsend

Glynne Townsend has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Glynne co-founded and served as a principal consultant at 28 Gorilla, a product design and technology services provider. Additionally, Glynne held positions such as Vice President of Business Development at Fluidic Energy, CEO at Spider9, and Sales and Business Development representative at A123 Systems. Glynne also held various engineering, sales, and business development positions at ZF Group, where they managed safety electronics and braking technologies at both business unit and global corporate levels. In 2019, Glynne became the President and CEO of ZPower, and in 2024, they were appointed as the Vice President of Global Sales at American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc.

Glynne Townsend obtained an MBA in International Business from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business between 1995 and 1997. Prior to that, between 1992 and 1995, Glynne completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Sales Management and Strategic Planning from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Glynne's tertiary education began in 1988 when they obtained a Bsc in Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire.
