Dee Powers

Dee Powers, SHRM-SCP, currently holds the position of Vice President of Human Resources at American Engineering Testing, Inc. (AET), starting in August 2022.

Prior to that, Dee served as Vice President of Human Resources at Sun Country Airlines from April 2018 to August 2022, where they provided strategic support to senior management and oversaw various HR functions. Before that, they held the role of Senior Director HR/Talent at the same company from June 2017 to April 2018.

Additionally, Dee worked as the Director of Human Resources at Arctic Cat from July 2016 to May 2017. Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure at Delta Airlines, where they served as the GM IT Procurement from 2008 to 2016.

Earlier in their career, Dee held multiple roles at Northwest Airlines, including Director of Human Resources, Director of Strategic Contracting, Director of Technical Operations/Aircraft Component Support Shops, and Director of Production Support/Human Resources. Dee successfully led various HR initiatives, oversaw a range of operations, and implemented strategic processes.

Dee began their career at the Minnesota Air National Guard/USAF, serving as the Recruiting and Retention Superintendent from 1993 to 1997.

Dee Powers, SHRM-SCP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from Regents College. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Insights Discovery Client Practitioner from Insights in 2023 and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM in November 2017. Dee has also obtained the Claudia Dee Powers certification from SHRM- Veterans at Work in 2019.
