Caroline Nowak

Caroline Nowak is a Research Associate at the American Enterprise Institute, focusing on Foreign and Defense Policy and Russian Studies since June 2023. Previously, Caroline served as a Communications Intern at the International Center for Transitional Justice, where responsibilities included monitoring global news related to human rights and publishing newsletters. During tenure as a Research Assistant at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, Caroline supported Professor Christopher Miller by monitoring current affairs in Russia and Post-Soviet states, analyzing economic data, and researching various topics, including the Russian military-industrial complex and Russia-China relations. Caroline began her career with a Policy Internship at the Polish American Congress, concentrating on European energy security and Russian-EU relations. An academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Tufts University, along with studies at UCL.
