Josh Boynton

Josh Boynton currently serves as a Staff Assistant in the City Council office for the City of Irvine, a position held since August 2025. Additionally, since January 2023, Josh has been a Research Associate at the American Enterprise Institute, focusing on Work, Vocation, and Career research under Senior Fellow Brent Orrell, while also gaining experience in administration and research tasks. Prior experience includes a Development Internship at the National Wildlife Refuge Association, where Josh conducted prospect research and managed donor databases, and work as an Associate at In-N-Out Burger, where quality customer service was maintained in a fast-paced environment. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from UCLA and an Associate of Arts in Political Science and Government from Cypress College.
