Kathryn T.

Kathryn T. is an analyst at the American Enterprise Institute since January 2021, specializing in OSINT and GEOINT work focused on terrorist groups in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Previous experience includes contractors roles at the United States Institute of Peace, where Kathryn collected daily OSINT on the Sudanese civil war, and at the Institute for the Study of War, conducting OSINT on the international response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. Additionally, Kathryn completed an internship gathering OSINT on political and security developments in Libya and the Horn of Africa, and trained active-duty civil affairs soldiers at the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Near and Middle Eastern Studies from Wellesley College and language studies in Arabic at Middlebury Language Schools and Mohammed V University in Rabat.
