Morgen Smith

Morgen Smith is currently a Development Writer at the American Enterprise Institute since June 2023. Previously, Morgen held positions as a Librarian/Educational Aide at Cornerstone Schools of Washington, D.C. and a Children's Ministry Intern at Westminster Presbyterian Church. Morgen has experience as a Writing and Media Lab Consultant and Research Fellow at Furman University, where skills in writing, media projects, and research methodologies were developed. Additional teaching experience includes serving as an English Second Language Teacher at PVS Lutherschule in Vienna and substitute teaching for Dover School District. Internships at LiveWell Greenville and United Ministries provided insights into community health and non-profit operations, while early work as a Merchandise Associate at The TJX Companies highlighted customer service abilities. Morgen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Affairs and Linguistics from Furman University.
