Shantanu Kamat

Shantanu Kamat is an accomplished research assistant currently working at the American Enterprise Institute in Economic Policy Studies, where responsibilities include engaging with noted scholars and attending policy summits. With prior experience at the University of California, Berkeley as a research assistant focused on international political economy, and as a research intern at the Cato Institute and regulatory policy intern at the American Action Forum, Shantanu has contributed to various significant policy analyses. Additional roles have included newsletter director and contributor at the Institute for Youth in Policy, with a solid foundation in political science and economics obtained through a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley, where Shantanu is expected to graduate in May 2025.
