Brandon Nordman

Brandon Nordman started their work experience in 2011 as a Detailer/Parts consultant at Deery Brothers Chevrolet. Brandon was responsible for providing full details on customer and business cars, as well as managing a team and reorganizing the parts room. In 2016 and 2017, they interned as a Finance/Accountant Intern at the same company.

In 2019, Brandon joined the Iowa Insurance Division as a Senior Insurance Company Analyst. Brandon held this role until 2022, where they were responsible for analyzing insurance companies and their operations.

Later in 2022, Brandon worked as an Investment Accountant II at Athene for a brief period. Here, they focused on investment accounting tasks.

Currently, Brandon is working as an Internal Controls Analyst at American Equity. Their role involves monitoring and improving the company's internal controls over financial reporting and non-SOX business controls. Brandon assists in designing controls for new processes/systems and maintains relationships with various stakeholders.

Brandon Nordman earned an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management, General from North Iowa Area Community College from 2014 to 2016. Brandon then attended Iowa State University's Ivy College of Business from 2016 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Financial Management Services.
