Chris Bowman

Chris Bowman has a strong background in data analysis and engineering. Chris is currently a Senior Data Analyst at American Equity, where they are responsible for ensuring data quality and implementing monitoring and security protocols. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Quality Analyst at American Equity, where they defined and implemented best practices for data profiling using Informatica tools. Chris also oversaw the transition to Informatica cloud-based applications. Before joining American Equity, Chris worked at Principal Financial Group for over 25 years, starting as an IT Analyst and eventually becoming a Senior Data Engineer. In these roles, they gained extensive experience in data analysis and engineering.

Chris Bowman attended Drake University from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Technology and Accounting. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Ataccama ONE v13 | DQ Advanced, Ataccama ONE v14 | ONE Desktop Advanced, Ataccama ONE v14 | Sharing & Users, Ataccama ONE v14 | Catalog & Glossary, Ataccama ONE v14 | DQ Foundation, Ataccama ONE v14 | ONE Desktop Core, Cloud Data Quality R41, Certified Professional, and Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse. The most recent certification was obtained in July 2023.
