Kyle Miller

Kyle Miller has a diverse work experience spanning over 12 years. Kyle is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer for Asset Management at American Equity since February 2020. In this role, they oversee operations, manages risk and compliance, and leads strategic initiatives.

Before joining American Equity, Kyle worked at Apollo Global Management, Inc. from 2014 to 2020. Kyle held multiple roles during their tenure, including Vice President of Investment & Accounting Operations and Director of Investment Operations. In these roles, they managed teams, developed operational policies and processes, and facilitated outsourcing and integration projects. Kyle played a key role in achieving cost savings, staff reduction, and improved performance records.

Prior to Apollo Global Management, Kyle spent six years at BNY Mellon. Kyle held the positions of Supervisor of Alternative Investment Operations and Senior Accountant. During their time at BNY Mellon, they focused on client service, risk reduction, and quality control.
