Nick Nolan

Nick Nolan, CFA has a comprehensive work experience in the finance industry. Nick is currently working as an Equity Derivatives Trader at American Equity since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Fixed Income & Derivative Portfolio Manager at Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines from December 2015 to May 2021. Nick also has experience in pricing and mortgage banking roles at Bank of the West, where they created pricing models for mortgage-backed securities, analyzed market trends, and structured loans to meet guidelines. Nick also utilized banking and investment services to reduce risk and increase profitability for customers. Nick's work experience reflects their expertise in financial analysis, risk management, and portfolio management.

Nick Nolan, CFA obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics from Luther College between 2005 and 2009. In 2008, they studied abroad at Regent's University London, focusing on Economics and Finance. Nick furthered their professional qualifications by becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Charterholder in August 2018, certified by the CFA Institute.
