Ryan Turner

Ryan Turner has a diverse work experience, starting as a Volunteer Technology Associate at Kellyville Public School, where they provided support and maintenance for desktop and server hardware and systems. Ryan then joined the US Navy as an Aviation Electrician, serving as an SH-60 F/B Seahawk Helicopter Electrician and participating in joint counter-narcotics deployments. After leaving the Navy, they worked as a Data Analyst at Global Holdings, where they developed BI reports, automated processes, and performed DBA duties. Ryan then joined Verizon as a Data Analyst, where they designed ERP integration, developed automated processes, and created performance metrics dashboards. Following that, they worked as a Senior Health Informatics Analyst at MyHealth Access Network, developing ETL pipelines, healthcare metrics, and providing guidance on data architecture. Ryan then took on the role of Data Systems Analyst at B+T Group, where they performed ERP and SQL Server DBA duties and implemented a data mart. Ryan then joined Global Holdings again as a Database Developer, where they designed and developed PL/SQL packages, developed backend components for analytics applications, and performed DBA duties. Most recently, they worked as a Data Engineer at Bison Technologies, developing data pipelines, designing and modeling data warehouse tables, and creating a sink connector for AWS Kinesis. Ryan's extensive experience in data engineering, analytics, and DBA roles make him a strong candidate for the position of Senior Data Engineer at American Equity.

Ryan Turner attended Kellyville High School from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their High School Diploma in General Education. From 2005 to 2007, they also studied at Central Technology Center and earned a Certificate in Network Security and Administration. Additionally, from 2014 to 2017, Ryan Turner pursued higher education at Walden University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology.
