Giorgos Athinaiou

Giorgos Athinaiou is an accomplished data engineer with extensive experience in various roles at Project A Ventures since December 2017, progressing from Junior Data Engineer to Lead Data Engineer. Prior experience includes working as a Machine Learning Engineer at Gnosis Data Analysis IKE, where responsibilities involved developing machine learning systems and data platform infrastructure, as well as at ICS-FORTH, focusing on the R package MXM and new machine learning algorithms. Giorgos also contributed as a Software Engineer in the LEADO project, specializing in back-end development and server configuration. Educationally, Giorgos holds both a Master of Science (MSc) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science from the University of Crete. Skills include R, Python, and Bash.
