Matthew A. Dress M.D.

Matthew A. Dress, MD has extensive experience in the field of pathology. Matthew A. currently serves as the President and Medical Director at American Esoteric Laboratories, where they have been since 2020. Prior to this, they were the Medical Director at American Esoteric Laboratories - Flow Cytometry Laboratory from 2019 to 2022. Before joining American Esoteric Laboratories, Dr. Dress worked as a Pathologist at Pathology Group of the Midsouth, PC from 2009 to 2018. Matthew A. also has fellowship experience in Hematopathology from the University of Rochester Medical Center and residency experience in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.

Matthew A. Dress, MD attended Christian Brothers University from 1995 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General. Following this, they pursued their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center from 1999 to 2004, specializing in Medicine.

In 2009, they obtained board certifications from The American Board of Pathology. Matthew A. became Board Certified in both Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, as well as Hematopathology.
