James Sherrell

James Sherrell is a seasoned financial professional with over 15 years of post-qualification experience, currently serving as the Vice President of Global Accounting Policy & Advisory at American Express since 2022. Previously, they held various roles at American Express, including Director Controller, where they led successful initiatives such as the conversion of financial statements to IFRS and the divestiture of the Global Business Travel business. James began their career at Lansdowne Venture Group Limited as a Financial Accountant and later worked at Balfour Beatty plc, where they advanced through management roles.
