Patrick Morkos

Patrick Morkos is a Master of Science candidate at the University of Michigan, specializing in Applied Data Science. They hold a MicroMasters in Statistics & Data Science from MIT, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and Suez University. Patrick is a proud Fulbright scholarship recipient, nominated as one of twenty finalists from three thousand applicants, and was the youngest among them. With a diverse background as an engineer and independent researcher, they have pursued various internships in Engineering Technology, Field Engineering, and Data Science & Machine Learning. Currently, Patrick serves as a Manager and Data Scientist at American Express, where they develop and maintain data-driven risk assessment solutions.
