Rich Astacio

Rich Astacio is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk finance and strategic initiatives, currently serving as Manager of the Stress Test Platform at American Express since November 2019. In this role, Rich defines and manages the strategy for the Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR) platform, focusing on methodology evaluation and enhancements through data and technology. Previously, Rich held various leadership and managerial positions at American Express, including Director of Strategic Initiatives & Chief of Staff in Treasury and Finance Manager & Chief of Staff to the Risk CFO. Rich also has experience as a Senior Account Analyst at HBO, a Financial Planning Analyst at Proskauer Rose LLP, and a Senior Analyst at CBS Corporation. Rich holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Business Administration, both from Fordham University.
