Shoma Chakravarty

Shoma Chakravarty is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in enterprise architecture and digital transformation. Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Architect at American Express, Shoma leads the Enterprise Architecture function responsible for technology modernization. Prior to this role, Shoma held various leadership positions at Verizon, including Vice President of the Digital Center of Excellence and Vice President of Platforms, Cloud Engineering & Enterprise Architecture, where innovation and customer experience were primary focuses. At Amazon Web Services, responsibilities included enabling digital transformation for communication service providers. Shoma also served as Chief Technology Officer at Telarix, Inc., overseeing product strategy and innovation. With a foundational background at IBM as an Executive Architect, Shoma holds an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT Sloan and multiple advanced degrees in Engineering from North Carolina State University.
