Vaibhav Gupta

Vaibhav Gupta is an experienced professional in the fields of AI, machine learning, and data science, with a significant tenure at American Express from June 2019 to January 2023. As a Senior Manager, Vaibhav developed a metadata recommendation capability that improved efficiency by saving over 7,000 analyst hours, and built a high-accuracy search engine using Elastic Search and NLP. Prior roles included implementing NLP-based data quality recommender engines and improving merchant industry identification through machine learning models. Vaibhav’s earlier experience includes positions at Absolutdata Analytics and Complete HEOR Solutions, where impactful models for business optimization and healthcare analytics were created. Vaibhav holds an M.Sc in Statistics from Hindu College and a B.Sc in Statistics from Kirori Mal College, both at the University of Delhi.
