Hitesh Balwada

Hitesh Balwada is a finance executive with extensive experience in corporate development and merger and acquisition strategy across various sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of Enterprise M&A and Corporate Development at American Family Insurance since 2022, Hitesh previously held the role of Director of Finance at Jewelers Mutual Group from 2020 to 2022, where responsibilities included financial management reporting and advising senior leadership. Prior to that, Hitesh was EVP of Capital Markets and Investor Relations at Edelman, focusing on advising companies on strategic communications and M&A activities. Experience also includes a Director position in Investment Banking at William Blair & Company, where Hitesh managed M&A transactions and growth strategy development, and an Associate role at Needham & Company, contributing to M&A and equity transactions. Hitesh holds an MBA with a Finance Major from The Wharton School, an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
