Melissa Vaughn

Melissa Vaughn is an accomplished benefits management professional with extensive experience in strategy, design, and innovation within the insurance and health sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Benefits Manager at American Family Insurance since January 2020, Melissa has also held the position of Director of Benefits at the organization. Prior roles include Senior Director of Benefits Design & Strategy at UnitedHealth Group and Director of Employee Health and Wellness at Schwan's Company, among others. Additionally, Melissa is actively involved as a Rescue Dog Mom with SHORT NOSES AND FRIENDS UNITED RESCUE. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Northern Colorado, obtained in 2003.
