Richard Baumgart

Richard Baumgart, CFA, is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in fixed income analysis and portfolio management. Currently serving as a Fixed Income Senior Analyst-Government/Rates at American Family Insurance since January 2019, Richard has previously held multiple positions at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati from April 2013 to December 2018, culminating in the role of Mortgage Portfolio Officer. In this capacity, Richard led the Bank's Balance Sheet Management Team, overseeing various aspects such as Agency MBS/CMBS portfolio management, debt issuance, interest rate risk hedging, and market risk exposure management. Prior roles include Trader/Investment Analyst at Coyle Asset Management, Trading Associate at HighTower Advisors, and Trader/Associate at Bear Stearns/J.P. Morgan, among others. Richard holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
