Piero Taico

Piero Taico is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications and photography. Currently serving as the Midwest Communications Manager at American Farmland Trust since January 2023, Piero also founded Nourish Springfield in March 2018 and has worked as a freelance photographer under Piero Photography since 2008. Previous roles include Assistant Director at Downtown Springfield, Inc. from September 2021 to February 2023, Communications Coordinator at Illinois Stewardship Alliance from June 2019 to September 2021, and Solutions Specialist at Verizon Wireless from March 2014 to December 2017. Piero's career began with a role as a Server at One World Cafe from August 2011 to March 2014. Piero holds a Bachelor's degree in Photography from Columbia College Chicago and an Associate of Arts degree from Illinois Central College.
