Tihda Vongkoth

Tihda Vongkoth is the President of Local 427-721 at the American Federation of Musicians of the US & Canada. Tihda is also the Co-Founder and President of Modern Marimba. With a strong background in percussion, Tihda has held roles as an Extra Percussionist at various orchestras such as The Florida Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, and Jacksonville Symphony. Tihda holds a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from Temple University and a Bachelor of Music from Southern Methodist University. Tihda also studied percussion at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and Pinellas County Center for the Arts at Gibbs High School.
