Nicole R. Pollard

Nicole R. Pollard is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently serving as the Executive Assistant to the President at the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) since November 2017, Nicole has contributed to the organization's mission of advocating for public sector workers. Prior to this role, Nicole worked as Staff Counsel at the National Education Association (NEA) and held the position of Associate General Counsel for Labor and Employment at AFSCME from September 2002 to November 2017. Nicole's legal expertise was further developed during tenure as Associate General Counsel at the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. Nicole holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Finance from the University of Maryland.
