Michael Pedder

Michael Pedder is an accomplished information security professional with extensive experience in security analysis and architecture. As a Senior Security Analyst at American Fidelity since March 2019, Michael has established and developed the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) program, utilizing industry standards like CIS, NIST, and SOC 2 to assess the security posture of applications and systems prior to implementation. Prior roles include Information Security Architect and Senior Linux System Administrator at Seagate Technology, where Michael also contributed to the development of VMware infrastructure and documentation to streamline security assessments. Earlier, as the Director of Information Technology at Marketing Information Network, Michael led a diverse team while managing server administration and the development of web applications. Michael holds a degree from Wichita State University, earned between 1992 and 1996.
