Timothy Bolden has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Timothy began their career as an Attorney at Gearhiser Peters in 1983 and later worked as Counsel for Litigation at Provident Life from 1985 to 1995. Timothy then became Of Counsel at Baker Donelson for a brief period in 1995 before joining CIGNA Group Insurance as VP of Legal. From 1998 to 2006, they served as the CCO and Associate General Counsel at Assurant. Bolden then joined American General Life Companies in 2006 as the Chief Counsel for Litigation and CCO. In 2012, they transitioned to American Fidelity Corporation, assuming the role of Chief Compliance Officer and Deputy General Counsel. Bolden currently holds the position of Chief Compliance Officer at American Fidelity, a role they have held since 2012.
Timothy Bolden completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 1976 to 1980. Subsequently, they pursued a Juris Doctor (JD) degree in Law at The University of Memphis—Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law from 1980 to 1983.
