Mike Stone is a seasoned fire protection professional with extensive experience in fire safety design and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Fire Protection Designer at Silco Fire & Security since August 2024, Mike has previously owned Fyer Design, a prescriptive-based fire suppression design company. With roles as a Fire Protection Designer at The Hiller Companies and American Fire Technologies, as well as a Fire Protection Specialist at Koorsen Fire and Security, Mike has consistently delivered high-quality design solutions for various suppression and fire alarm systems. Mike's foundational experience as a firefighter, paramedic, inspector, and investigator with the City of Massillon Fire Department, along with leadership as Acting Captain, further enhances their expertise. Educational achievements include studies at Cuyahoga Community College and The University of Akron, alongside a degree in NICET, specializing in Fire Alarm Systems and Special Hazards.
